Tables, Ladders, Chairs and one hell of an annoyed Roman Reigns rampage, this PPV REALLY did have it all. Here is our little match by match report!
Tag Team Title Ladder Match: The New Day’s Big E & Kofi Kingston (w/Xavier Woods) vs. Lucha Dragons vs. The Usos
What a match! What an opener! We love Kofi from his acrobatics to his crazy Royal Rumble antics and everyone involved did not disappoint what a spectacle. The crowd are going crazy with the usual chants after the first ten minutes, superb athleticism and your money’s worth has been seen already!
Rusev (w/Lana) vs. Ryback
Quite a dull affair here, both brutes are rather slow and sluggish and although it had a few cool moments it really toned down the crowd from the opening match-up.
United States Championship Chair match – Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger
I like what they did with the match-up but the stars involved were all kinds of wrong, I’m not a big fan of either of them, especially Del Rio (in ring, outside of the ring he’s actually a nice guy) but yeah, moving on.. getting a little boring now.
8 Man Tag Team Elimination Tables Match: The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan & Braun Strowman) vs. Team ECW (Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Rhyno & Tommy Dreamer)
I HAVE AWOKEN!!! I think the nolstagia got to me with this one, I just had to see one 3D and I would of given a perfect review for the match no matter how slow and lethargic it may of been. I saw one, I loved it, that is all.
Intercontinental Title: Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose
Kevin Owens… still on the fence about that guy but the result made me feel better as Dean Ambrose is so under-rated within the company, he really is an Attitude Era throwback and he put on a show worthy of a champion.
Divas Title: Charlotte (w/Ric Flair) vs. Paige
A hard match to get into, so you’re just grinding your teeth and as a straight man I was just enjoying the view. Bit of a let down from the girls but nevermind, maybe next time?
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match: Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns
These guys put on the headline show that TLC really deserves, they really put their bodies on the line for crowd entertainment and the crazyness didn’t stop there.
Once the bell had rung, Roman goes CRAZY and I mean CRAZY for reasons obvious to those who watch it, the guy puts on an extended rampage and I’m here, mouth open, knowing it’s fixed but I just can’t look away, it really was the epic end of quite a wonderful PPV.
