Royal Rumble 2015 Review

As the road to WrestleMania begins, 30 Superstars enter the Royal Rumble match for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the grandest stage of them all. Which Superstar will survive and earn the right to headline WrestleMania?

New Age Outlaws vs. The Ascension

The newbies vs the old timers, quite frankly one of the most boring matches i’ve seen since the last PPV with headlocks that will surely bore you to sleep.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
The Usos Vs The Miz & Damien Mizdow

For the 20th + time the Uso’s and The Miz and Mizdown face off in another boring waste of PPV scheduling time. A nice jump over the top rope by an Uso provides the only highlight of a mediocre match.

Natalya & Paige Vs The Bella Twins

Including the pre show match this is now the 4th tag team match in a row so it’s clear to see the WWE are building up with a slow, depressingly boring build up to what promises to be a wonderful Triple Threat match.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match
Brock Lesnar Vs John Cena Vs Seth Rollins

In a match that features Cena and Lesnar you’d hazard a guess at saying either of those two superstars would be the headline act here, but no it was Seth Rollins who was working his ass of and pleasing the crowd. Two high spots, elbow-dropping Lesnar through a table and performing a beautiful Phoenix Splash to Cena that had my jaw hit the floor in record time.

An amazing match to watch and Seth really proved his worth in this match competiting with the big boys no matter the outcome of the match.

2015 Royal Rumble Match

A laughable excuse for a Royal Rumble with the crowd up in arms over the eventual winner, this person in partciular not a crowd favorite at the moment that’s for sure. A suprise apperance from Bubba Ray Dudley and a return to the ring for Chris Jericho and DDP were both short lived, as the rushed and quite frankly embarassing headlining match turned the atmosphere sour with the crowd turning on the WWE superstars with raptures of boos.

I think this was a statement by Vince that he will do things his way and shouted a big f**k you to the fans in the process.
