Royal Rumble 2014 Review

All the action from the Consol Energy Center Pittsburgh as 30 WWE Superstars competed in the Royal Rumble match for the chance to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 30!

As well as the Rumble itself this year’s event also features WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton, defending his title against John Cena, Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show, Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt, and Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs. The New Age Outlaws!

The DVD kicks off in epic style with Daniel Bryan facing Bray Wyatt and for the opening of a Royal Rumble match it does not disappoint ! I don’t rate Bray Wyatt or his strange family in the WWE but this match he brings a sort of haunting essence to the ring, I still don’t see the point in him or his poor athletic ability but the match pans out great and its a perfect way to kick off the rumble.
The Brock Lesnar fight is just brutal, since the guy has come back from UFC I have a good feeling that he has told Vince that wrestlers can actually hit him in the face as he can now take it, he takes some serious blows to the face in this match, and who said wrestling is fake?
A fantastic Royal Rumble with familiar faces entering the ring, some amazing Kofi Kingston action, some crazy heart stopping moments but an ending that is so disappointing that even the crowd had something to say about it !
