Roulette Scenes that Get us in a Spin

Happy Friday everyone, we hope you’re gearing up for a crazy weekend.

As each week ends you weigh up how it’ gone, what work did you get done, what will I get up to this weekend. But we all need a bit of luck and good fortune to get through anything life throws at us along the way.

With something a little different here on Back to the Movies we take a look at some memorable roulette scenes from some wonderful movies and shows.

Hopefully reading about luck will bring you some of your own! And for those who have been dating Lady Luck for some time now, I recommend you check out the latest trend on roulette games which is the Online Live Roulette

Toy Story 3 (2010)

The appeal of roulette is universal and even in a children’s animation does it come into play but rather than money there are bigger items on offer. Batteries. It’s always a scene that makes me laugh as these toys are gathered around a table gambling.

Croupier (1998)

You’d think with a film title like that the movie would have great roulette scenes and it doesn’t disappoint. Clive Owen shows the heart-ache and suffering of the loss involved playing the casino game. Take a look at the clip below.

Grown Ups 2 (2013)

I’m really choosing some unique roulette scenes here as the gang in Grown Ups 2 play a game of arrow roulette. The game is simple, a group are all huddled together whilst one person fires an arrow into the air. The group must scatter and avoid the arrow that is destined to hurl back to earth heading for any one of them. You have to see it to believe it in this hilarious clip below.

Lethal Weapon (TV Show)

The TV show version of Lethal Weapon starring Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford is really growing on me now it’s being shown every Friday on UK television. The chemistry between both guys is reminiscent of Danny Glover and Mel Gibson’s from the movie adaptation and it’s just a fun show, shot in Los Angeles that every episode manages to get bigger and better every time. Naturally there is a nice little roulette scene in the show after a casino is robbed which you can check out below.
