No Caller ID Short Film Review

Only 40 seconds of the movie had passed and already I felt what can only be described as my bowels emptying in fear and for the rest of the short, the clenching began.

The story is a simple one, a young woman receives a mysterious call in the night. After several strange occurrences she realises that she is not alone and that she may be in grave danger.

A perfectly shot and structured short with jump scares reminiscent of the great James Wan, who similarly uses sound and atmospherics to drive the scares in fun and ingenius ways. I was hooked from start to finish and didn’t want it’s icy cold unrelenting grip to let go at any given second.
