Matchup Review

WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos Vs. Goldust And Stardust

We try to take Cody Rhodes seriously with his stardust makeup on but he doesn’t quite pull it off like Goldust does. A nice little match up this one, with some great technical ability on display and some outside the ring action to open the PPV rather nicely !

United States Championship Match: Sheamus Vs. Cesaro

Cesaro is such an under-rated wrestler his suplex’s and technical ability is astounding, in addition to his groundword. Sheamus is always fun to watch also. A slow build up to the match but some interesting take downs and a few brawler moments keep you watching but its nothing spectacular until the last 3 minutes, then it seems as thou both fighters thought hmm.. lets actually put on a show !

Intercontinental Championship Match: Dolph Ziggler Vs. The Miz

Athletic, jumpy, never dull for one second, The Ziggler Vs Miz match is full of high octane energy and interesting move combinations. The ending of the match is hilarious as Ziggler’s tights nearly end up around his ankles !

Mark Henry Vs. Rusev

The Worlds strongest man against Rusev, USA vs Russia and once again Rusev’s storyline is providing a thorn in the side of every WWE fan out there, I cannot wait to see this guy leave the WWE, he is boring, predictable and needs his ass whooping. NEXT.

Chris Jericho Vs. Randy Orton

Its Y2J and Randy Orton going head to head, easily two of the best superstars in the industry today. Some great outside the ring action and great athletic display on show. Y2J has still got it but it seems as thou the WWE are adamant in bringing Randy down to a middle card superstar rather than a figure head, which is a shame as he is a real talent. Never the less a great match with two amazing superstars.

WWE Divas Championship Match: Paige Vs. Nikki Bella Vs. AJ Lee

This one is an all out cat fight, LOVE IT !! There really isn’t more to say about that, its just beautiful to watch !

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: John Cena Vs. Brock Lesnar

Now watching this match this does not look like the same John Cena who got his ass handed to him at Summerslam oh hell no. For good proportions of this match John Cena is still getting his ass beat, but moments of dominance that strikes fear into the eyes of the almost invincible Brock Lesnar.  Brock keeps coming at Cena, time and time again that relentless animal but this time Cena seems to find a backbone and retaliates strategically and with precision each and every time. A great match up, a real shame about the ending thou however, god damn politics.

A fantastic PPV but the highlight of the whole night is Dean Ambrose arriving to beat the living hell out of Seth Rollins and in turn taking out security guards and fighting in the public stands. Absolutely fantastic entertainment reminiscent of the old WWF Attitude era.
