Channel 4 has officially made my day as I read a new story stating that they had aired a Fear of the Walking Dead advert in the interval of the Johnny Depp kids movie Rango.
My head was racing with hilarious thoughts of horrified children watching decapitated zombies roaming on their TV screens, classic.
Channel 4 apologized for running a Fear the Walking Dead ad during the movies ad breaks. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) received only three complaints which is rather suprising, everyone is so senstive these days I was expecting hundreds of them.
“Channel 4 apologised for any distress this error may have caused and stated that they took their responsibilities as a broadcaster very seriously and were taking steps to improve how the application of timing restrictions were managed.”
