Building the DeLorean Issue #18

Issue #18 is here and what another easy issue we have to construct as we add the engine sides and back panel on and attach the manifolds, oil filter and fuel filter. What I’ve loved about the last few issues isn’t just the simplicity of the build but the heavy duty quality of the die-cast metal pieces and the detail that’s on them is mind-blowing. Especially on an engine that will be covered up in future issues. The quality and commitment to detail is unmatched.

The production diary pieces of the magazine go into a Huey Lewis cameo in the movie, actor Harry Waters Jr who played Marvin Berry in Back to the Future and once again another piece on Peabody’s barn which is relevant to the Tales from Space editorial in a few of the previous issues. I feel as thou they should really move on from that but they do have to drag content out over another 100 and something issues so I can’t blame them.

Super easy build and #19 is even easier. Bring it on!

Thanks Gary! I am a few issues behind in terms of the mini written reviews that I do thou so I need to catch up! I wish there was more information or better means of contact with them but sadly there is not. I used super glue just to keep them held in place. As you’ll see in future reviews etc super glue comes in handy for quite a few things.
