Blue Line is an Action Thriller Directed by Jacob Cooney starring, Tom Sizemore, Jordan Ladd, Nikki Moore and Kevin Nash.
The story revolves around Lindsay (Jordan Ladd) and her best friend Nicole who go on a crime spree to rob her husband and escape her marriage. Tom Sizemore plays a jittery detective who is hot on their tail after a recent store robbery.
From the cinematography, to the musical score, to the props and costumes. Every inch of this Independent production feels high value. The cold, crisp scenery mixed with the heat of a crime spree equals the balance of a wonderfully constructed script. Nothing is ever forced, nothing ever feels out of place, it’s a simple premise that is done to it’s finest potential in this unexpected and dangerous thriller.
Sizemore puts in a wonderful performance as his character Detective Broza is a complicated individual, you can see his situation is constantly self questioned, always asking himself why he’s still doing this once high-adrenaline job in such a quiet town. It is clear to see that Broza’s passion isn’t what it used to be and distractions are easily clouding his judgement, especially with those close to him. A very interesting character that makes for some compelling viewing.
A smooth flowing plot that packs just enough punches to keep the match rolling until the last heavy hitting round. Blue Line is a ferociously fun Action Thriller. An Independent gem and a very classy production indeed. A film that puts the females in the driving seat and they never ease off the throttle!
