Annabelle Wallis in Talks for Female Lead in Mummy Reboot

Set for a June 9, 2017 release (Bad Boys summer competition) The Mummy reboot is in talks with none other than Annbelle Wallis (Annabelle, Peaky Blinders) to star alongside Tom Cruise as the female lead archaeologist in the film.

Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan were given the task of reviving the Universal monster movies with Kurtzman on board to also direct this movie and Chris on board to produce it with Sean Daniel.
