5 Of The Most Action Packed Disabled Characters In Movies

We often see amazingly strong and super human characters grace our cinema screens, doing unbelievable things and saving the world. Over the years we’ve seen more than our fair share of men and women taking on super villains and bad guys, but occasionally there will be those extraordinary characters that have other obstacles to overcome, such as disabilities.

Hollywood will occasionally release a movie focusing on disability, however more often than not, these are mental disabilities such as dementia in Still Alice or autism in Rain Man. Only a handful of times are physical disabilities addressed, but there have been a handful of truly amazing characters that don’t let disability get in their way.

Blinded by toxic waste, Matt Murdoch takes to the street under the guise of Daredevil, using his superhuman senses to fight the criminals of Hell’s Kitchen.

Zatoichi – Zatoichi
